DR. KARI AYOOB, PT, DPT

Kari has spent her time in the healthcare profession working to increase access to regular care in disenfranchised communities, volunteering with USC Fit Families and at clinics in Costa Rica, Peru, and Argentina. In response to the BLM movement following the death of George Floyd, along with colleagues from her PT program, Kari founded The Movement Network to ensure that these bodies of change could continue to march towards a more just society.

Chelsea has a passion for providing care for underserved communities, volunteering for medical missions to Tanzania and Belize as well as providing physical therapy services to those experiencing homelessness in Hollywood. Chelsea was inspired by the protests and founded The Movement Network to continue her passion of providing PT to those fighting for justice.

Lauren has led and facilitated youth arts education programs, as well as programs that brought movement classes to those experiencing incarceration, providing a creative outlet for their stories to be heard. While in graduate school, Lauren continued to find opportunities to work with underserved communities through arts and physical therapy.
DR. BENJAMIN YU, PT, DPT, CSCS

Ben is the founder and lead PT at Longevity & Performance Institute in Arcadia, CA. Even as a physical therapy student, Ben was finding ways to provide his services to those in need as often as he could, working with both underinsured and the homeless populations, respectively. He is now even more excited to continue those efforts on a larger scale with The Movement Network.
